[closed] online maps

Hi,

I have used the free version for a while and have just decided to purchase the full version. However I have one small problem. When I try to add more online maps I get a strange error:

"The current place (Online maps "Online maps") is not writable, therefore no items can be created inside it."

How do I change the location to a writable one? The offline maps directory is set to "/sdcard/" and it seems happy to load offline maps from there.

Thanks for using AlpineQuest.
It seems that you are browsing built-in online maps. You cannot add built-in maps (in the new 1.2.10 version the '+' button has been removed).

If you want to add online maps, you can:
- Browse community maps and select some (use the 'Back' button to browse the root map explorer place and select 'Community maps' and then 'Browse');
- Add custom .aqx files (place them on your memory card like offline maps and select them like offline maps).

AlpineQuest documentation is not really complete, I'm sorry about that.
