Display Grid - Is it possible to remove the outline/shadow with the coordinates?

You can tell us what you like or don't like in AlpineQuest, and what you would like to see in future releases.

Display Grid - Is it possible to remove the outline/shadow with the coordinates?

Post by Ingensor » Wed Jun 17, 2020 2:04 pm

Hello again! ;)
Please add (if it does not require a lot of work), user settings, so that you can remove the outline and shadow with the coordinate grid (screenshot).
As we have already done it with heading lines:

Code: Select all

map.canvas.heading_line_shadow=false
map.canvas.heading_line_bg_factor=2.0
map.canvas.heading_line_bg_alpha=0.75
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi,
Yes I'll add a user setting for this, but I don't think you'll be able to read the texts anymore...

Thank!
I think that if the grid color red, purple or white, it should be readable ...
But could be added setting the outline color (which is white now)

I'll add a user setting to change the shadow color or disable it.
