[resolved] Android 14 compatibility

Hi. I just saw in my tech brief today that Android 14 will require apps to use at minimum the Android SDK that meets Android 6.0. I assume that AlpineQuest easily handles this requirement, but I wanted to check. Thanks

Hi,
Yes don't worry, AlpineQuest currently meets the Android 12 requirements (which is already mandatory for publishing apps on the Play Store).
I guess what you read concerns apps installed from outside of the Play Store.

Great, thanks for your quick reply. The report focused on Play Store requirements, and had brief coverage about third-party installs being scanned. Since I don't do any of those at this time, that point didn't get much of my time
