AlpineQuest beta 2.2.8.r6818 and previous versions.

Force update local data option.

1. After I check it and press Back button the information does not appear immediately on the map preview as it happens when applying another options such as invert colours etc. I have to go back and press Maps → Displayed maps again to see the description "Force update local data" appears on the map preview.
2. After I close application, or change a workspace, or change a favourite map and then come back (to the app, or to the same workspace or to the same favourite map) I see this option switched off though I did not switch it manually.
Is it correct and planned?

#1: You're right, I'll correct this.
#2: Yes this is the intended behavior. This is supposed to be used temporarily only, so it does turn off when you quit the application this way you don't forget to turn it off.

Also, when you select the option change the screen resolution by long pressing the "+" or "-" zoom buttons, this also reset when your quit the application.
Otherwise all other settings should be remembered (as far as I remember).
