[closed] Unable to access on-board maps

Post by sticko »

I purchased Alpinequest 1.4.22 to enable me to view .qct files previously purchased from MemoryMap
I am unable to view onboard maps.
I have placed the .qct files in the "alpinequest/maps/" folder.
I click on "Maps" then selected "Explore Maps"
and the only options presented are
OpenStreetMap Maps
Bing Maps
Google Maps
USGS Maps (USA)
There is no "Onboard Maps" option.

In your help files How to use on-board maps "section 2 Select your maps from the application"
you state Once you have correctly un-linked your device, start the application.
What does "Once you have correctly un-linked your device" mean and how do you do it?

If that bears no relation to the problem then please advise how I use my on-board qct maps.

Hi and thanks for your interest in our application.
You're almost there, after selecting "Explore maps", just select the on-board maps as explained in step 3 here.

"Once you have correctly un-linked your device" means removed the USB cable from your device if you did use one to copy your maps onto your device.

Let me know if you have an issue
Best regards
