[closed] Saved areas - managing space

Post by rl101 »

I understand saved areas keep adding up. How can I free space or delete previously saved areas to free space?
Thank you

Hi,
You can clear stored data as explained here (online help):
http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/m ... clear-data

Also, you can store temporary areas as explained here:
http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/workspaces

Let me know if you still have questions
Best regards

Thanks, exactly what I wanted.

By 'delete all data', will all waypoints I have created be deleted as well?

No it won't delete the waypoints.
Maps and waypoints are two very different things in the application.

You can have a look at this online help. However data already stored won't be moved. If you have any, you'll have to manually delete the old storage folder or move its content to the new folder.
