Is there currently or will there be in the future a way to manually input and save a range of custom map scales, i.e. when you zoom in and out the map automatically goes through a custom range of scales e.g. 1:5000, 1:10 000, 1:25 00, 1:50 000, 1:100 000 etc.?

Hi,
I don't know if this is what you want or not but you can store various levels of a given area using this:

Hi, no not quite what I was looking for. I want to be able to manually input the map scale e.g. 1:25 000 and lock the map to that scale. Is there any way to do this?

So no you can't do that.
These map scales are for paper maps, it does make real sense on digital maps.
If you need to exactly display one of those scale, you can un-check the app setting "Lock zoom on levels" and select the exact 1:25000 (for ex.) using the pinch zoom. But when you move you wont be able to keep this same zoom scale since it depends on your latitude.
Best regards
