"Group all"- Undo?
Temporary loss of GNSS lock produced many individual tracks which I now displayed together via cut & paste as described in the online help. However, when I tried to merge these segments, the result ws not as expected, with many straight lines all across the map. Is there a way to restore the original?

Hi,
Yes you can copy all the segments to un group (https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/ ... iple_items), and paste them in a folder (outside of the track).
It will create one track per segment.

Hi and thanx for your quick reply. I am not sure what you mean, as now there is only one segment left after merging....

A screenshot of that track after merging. Originals were some tiny segments and not a roundtrip, it seems these segments were joined randomly and not in the chronologically correct order.

Re: "Group all"- Undo?
Sorry I did not understand that all the segments where merged into a single one.
So unfortunately there is no quick "undo" option at this stage.
What you can do is to cut your track again into pieces: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/ ... _of_a_path
But it will take some time.
