I have just updated to the latest version. Unfortunately the issue regarding the loss of the last letter in the settings menu items, has not been resolved.

That's not a good news...
Here is two screen-shots of:
- version 1.3.11 (left) showing the reproduced issue;
- version 1.3.12 (right) showing the corrected issue on my device.

Does your issue looks like something similar to version 1.3.11?
Have you seen any improvement with version 1.3.12? like the last character being a little more displayed?

There is some improvement in that the text is now as in 1.3.12, except for the longer strings e.g. Full screen window, Volume button zoom, Information box size etc. These are as in 1.3.11.

What I have done is added on space at the end of each title. I guess I'll have to add another one...
