Maps for Argentina and sourroundings

I'm from Argentina. The best maps for this area, are developed by a cooperative group that offers it for free. These maps are actually available for Garmin gps only. [see http://www.proyectomapear.com.ar/]
I wish to know if there are any way to process these maps in order to generate the AQM files.
Could anyone with the abilities to manage these things, take a look over it?
It would be great if we can share these free, greatest maps!!!!
