[closed] Naming recorded track

Post by ydespond »

With the last version, it becomes difficult to name a recorded track.

The track must be named before it is stopped for having the track name and the file name to be the same.

It should help if you add the track name to the track recorder window with the possibility to edit it. A possibility should be as the picture below.

Hi and sorry for the delay.

It will change again in the next versions, I'm still reworking the track recorder. I'll try to make this point easier.

But note that to name the track and stop the track recorder, it takes the same number of steps than before, so it's not more difficult, it's just different.
I've updated the online help on this subject: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/ ... the_record

Hello,

Thank you for the answer.

You are right. My problem is that I frequently miss to name the track before stop it, and after, it is to late.

Best regards

It's never too late.
1. You can always edit the name of any track at any time, of course.
2. You can use the "Resume" action, then name the track, then stop.
