Are there any plans for Alpinequest to use this Android API for storage of placemarks/tracks, as it would allow saving these directly to other document providers like Google Drive, OneDrive, etc?

Hi Nick,
No there are no plans, because you can already do all those things.
- Grant the AlpineQuest the right to access your files (as requested at first app startup) and it will be able to save your placemarks anywhere on your internal device memory;
- And it's already possible to sync your data on those providers, see here: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/faq ... _the_cloud

Hi,
Thanks. It's disappointing I need to install other yet another app, but I'll check out Onesync and Autosync to access my cloud storage services. Thanks again.

I understand your point.
But in a way it's not the job of AQ to sync things to OneDrive, Dropbox, Drive or Yandex, Hubic, ... There are dedicated apps that will do the job much better.
