Hi Dainius and thanks for your feedback.
Yes this format support would be great and it's a planned feature, however I can't give you an availability date right now since a lot of other features are also planned and more important to have for an hiking application...
Best regards

I believe that MAP2MAPC can convert ESRI Shape files directly to AQ format.

Hi
these files (esri SHP) will never be?
When will the new update?

Unfortunately I cannot give any news concerning the support of shp files. It won't be so soon anyway.
The next update is on its way, I've postponed the release date so much times that I don't give release dates anymore.

No you can't, long and lat must be exported.
Would you like to be able to un-check them?

I have a KML, KMZ files and alpine area files on alpinequest map... (still a great need shapefile on the map)
I want export from KML to CSV and after opening the file (with HCELL VIEWER or Turbo Editor programs)
get only LKS94 coordinates.
so I would like to remove the markers
This is a hidden powerful converter!
