My Xiaomi 11T Android 13 is still working properly

Not sure if Global Dark Mode is an Android 10 feature, or a Xiaomi MIUI 11 feature, or a combination of the two, however, it is quite a neat feature for forcing dark menu schemes onto apps that do not have a native Dark Mode setting, such as AQ.

It actually works well in AQ with one slight exception ...

AQ working fine on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, MIUI 11, Android 9 AND Android 10. Maps on extSD.

... of Android, there was a simple Developer Option setting to get round this, but it no longer appears to function on Android 10, at least not on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro phone.

There is a solution, however, which was the one I used to use back in the Marshmallow days. It involves editing the /data ...

I have 2 phones: Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (Android 10) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro (Android 9)
Both phones should AlpineQuest version 235, the same settings.

Is it possible to compute the altitude profile and gain/loss based on the altitude data obtained from the map instead of from the gps ?

Alpinequest is a great app, the first I install and test when I need to change phone ! It works fine on my new Xiaomi Mi 9T.

On previous versions of alpinequest there was a message telling the user to activate the GPS if it wasn't. It doesn't behave like that on my Xiaomi redmi 6. Is that a desired feature?

I have found recent additions to the app very helpful, e.g. seeing an estimate of the time to reach a certain distance ahead and the app is also working well now with my Xiaomi phone.
