Hi Alex,
I don't really know. Maybe on older devices. But anyway there will be workaround for sure. Wait and see.
But in case of problem you should be able to disable HTTPS in the AQX files to fix it (for example by adding the "insecure" tag as we have done in the "Life Беларусь карта покрытия" map).

The Impending Doom of Expiring Root CAs and Legacy Clients

On July, 8, 2020
I've heard it may concern old devices and there may be problems with:
- OSM Carto (Mapnik)
- OSM Thunderforest
- OpenTopoMap (org, ru)
and some other maps.

Is is serious and may affect AQ?
