Announcing AlpineQuest 2.3.6

AlpineQuest 2.3.6 is available.

List of changes:
  • Added ability to set custom fields in the top Explorer mode bar;
  • Added new Explorer mode fields: instant slope (using sensors of devices), terrain slope (using 1″ stored elevation data), approximate remaining battery time, done so far energy (Wh) and power (W);
  • Added ability to measure distance and elevation gain between two points of a path (by setting one of them as target point);
  • Added mean battery consumption, overall cell network coverage, developed energy and power in recorded tracks statistics;
  • Added ability to filter recorded tracks by battery consumption
  • Recorded track events (breaks, maximums, etc.) are now displayed on the map at higher scales (can be turned off from settings);
  • Calories are now computed based on the activity;
  • Improved track details events;
  • User is warned when he’s about to lose its current map configuration, and has the ability to save it as favourite before displaying a new map;
  • Various improvements (#15582, #16776, #17591, #18448, #18455, #18617) and bug fixes (#18608, #18613, #18476).
2.3.6b:
  • Added new settings to hide the lines to target and from real-time location;
  • Various improvements (#18867, #18932) and bug fixes.
2.3.6c:
  • Added “Sort by…” shortcuts in the explorers;
  • Added new activities;
  • Improved Android 13 support;
  • Various improvements and bug fixes (#18946).
