it'd be great if I could copy with my finger the the text of the info boxes.

Yes it's an idea.
If it's for the coordinates, it's already possible: center click > tools > copy...

I was wanting to copy azimuth etc. etc.

Yes currently holding down one's finger makes all the boxes disappear, so maybe a short tap could do something different...
