[closed] Rotate Map With GPS Desensitisation

Post by Yemble »

I noticed when driving home yesterday, using AQ with the "Rotate Map Using GPS" function enabled, that everytime the car stopped, the map immediately rotated to its default north/south orientation, rather than maintaining the orientation of the previous GPS direction of travel. This is somewhat annoying and also rather unecessary.

It would be nice, if when using "Rotate Map Using GPS", that the map orientation would remain unaltered when the device comes to a standstill and stay unaltered until a GPS location change of a few metres is detected.

I'm sure that this would be just as valid when walking as when driving.

Absolutely, I'll try to do something.
It has also been recently reported here.

Brilliant. :D

I was going to add, that resetting the map back to default orientation would still be a valid thing to do if the GPS is disabled, or reset by the user.

Small update, I've just released a new beta (r3073) that should behave better regarding this "issue".
