Hi,
With AlpineQuest 1.3.8, when I try to remove a point from a track via the 'Edit profile', a Java NullPointerException is raised.
Thanks.
Regards.

Thanks.
I have reproduced the error and will correct it in the next update (I'll try to make it soon).
Sorry for this disagreement,
By the way did you try the
new tracker version?
Best regards

Hi,
Yes, I've tested the new tracker and it's really cool to have the barometer based altitude. I'll post some related questions on a dedicated thread.
Regards.

The issue has been indeed fixed.
However, upon a removal of a position there is no feedback to the user and the data corresponding to the removed position is still displayed.
Thanks
Regards.

After removing a point, the graphic should be updated, as well as the track on the map without the deleted location. I double checked on my device today and it worked fine. Can you see the graphic being updated? (it's more visible when you remove a point that correspond to a maximum speed, since all the scale is updated)

Hi,
This does not work consistently for me.
Most of the time, nothing happens. I have to click "remove" 3 or 4 times before something is refreshed.
If you use the attached fictitious track and try to remove the highest point, you should see that nothing happens. You can even remove all points without any refresh but you will face an exception.
Thanks.
Regards.

I wanted to mean nothing happens in the profile editor. The points on the map are refreshed correctly.

Hi,
I'm really interested in finally fixing this issue in version 1.3.12 but I haven't succeeded in reproducing it. For me, it seems that 1.3.11 is working fine, as described here:
1. I display the track attached, and select "Edit profile";
2. I press "Delete" a first time. The track is updated on the map, as is the profile;
3. I press "Delete" a second time. Everything is updated as expected. There is only 2 points left so the "Delete" button is not available any more. I close the side view, and the GPX file is saved.
It would be great if you could send me the alpinequest.log file after having the error so I can clearly identify which part fails on your device.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
The profile editor is still not refreshed upon a position deletion for me.
I've noticed that if I just move the map after a deletion, the profile editor gets refreshed.
I'll send you the log file as it seems I cannot attach .log or .txt file.
Thanks.
Regards.

Hi,
The issue does not occur anymore with 1.3.12.
Have you done something ?
Was my previous feedback or log file useful ?
Thanks anyway.
Regards.

Hi and thanks for your feedback! It's a good news.
Yes, based on your log and especially your last comment (stated the graphic was refreshed after moving the map), I have changed the way it's refreshed after a deletion and now it seems working fine!
Thanks again for your help and sorry for delay of this fix!
Best regards
