Geospatial pdf files

I was reading about a desktop map editing program I am thinking of buying, and this program can generate geospatial pdf files that, once it is imported into an app that can read this info, will allow you to see where you are on a pdf map file. The program I am looking at mentioned that the Avenza Map app will do this, and I was wondering if the AlpineQuest app will do this also? I'd rather use AlpineQuest as I hate to have to switch between apps for something. I think this could be a very quick and handy way of creating a map of a specific area with the exact features and overlays one wants. teach orienteering and many of my clients use AlpineQuest, and I can see where this feature would be great for printing out specific maps for a class to use.

Hi,
It would always a good feature to add, of course, however I don't know when it will be available.
For sure, it won't be in a near future unfortunately.
Sorry about that.
