Hello my Android 5.1.1 y
Very long open rmaps card, if the file is more than 2-3 gigs, the discovery takes place 2-3 minutes.
If the card file consists of several cards, then comes the discovery and more than 5 minutes.

Means that Rmaps files sometimes are rather slow to open. I noticed it depends on various Android versions. Somebody has problems, somebody does not.

Small RMaps files open in 1-2 seconds, big files of several gigs.... It depends...
The author of the program recommend to save RMaps as favorites but it would be better to save the problem in some other way.
RMaps format is very very convenient for AlpineQuest use and various map files can be converted to RMaps by means of many other applications such as SAS. Planet, Global Mapper.
So please have a look at this problem.

I have tested it on my device with Android 4.2.1 and it took me about a minute to open it. But the user who uploaded the file says that he has problems to open, it takes much more time. If I am not mistaken with Android 6.

Starting with version 2.0.2c it should now be very fast from the second time you display or list the maps.
