[closed] Information boxes size and elevation data - two questions

Post by alexlong »

Hi.
1.
Some users told me it would be good to add one more size to Settings → Information boxes size. Now there are:
Very small
Small
Medium
Big
Very big
Is it possible to add one more after Very big?

Very small
Small
Medium
Big
Very big
?

2. Another question is about elevation data display. Today I have talked to a friend of mine who returned from the mountain hiking. He said sometimes it was rather difficult to determine either it's an arrow or "1" digit. The arrow looks very much as "1".
Is it possible to:
a) make an arrow in some other way for examlple in circle or a kind of this?
b) move it a little bit aside from coordinates information
3) to increase the arrow display and make it similar to coordinats font display?

Thanks!

Hi Alex, sorry for the delay.
After a long reflection, I came to the conclusion that:
- 5 different sizes of information box is sufficient for almost everyone. And if you want to get big texts while outside, just use the explorer mode where you can have very big figures.
- If you use the default info box text (not use the "bold" text user setting), the elevation sign does not really confuse with the elevation value. However, I'll test replacing the elevation sign by a "+" or "-" (ex: +125 m), and if it's more clear, I'll use it.
